By Zoila Palma: On February 24, 2026, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio arrived in St. Kitts and Nevis for the for 50th Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM.
Rubio touched down last night in a United States Air Force Boeing C-32 at Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport.
Rubio is scheduled to meet with Caribbean leaders at the conference today.
“Secretary Rubio will engage with Caribbean leaders to advance shared priorities, including strengthening regional security, deepening cooperation to combat illegal immigration and illicit trafficking, and promoting economic growth, health, and energy security across the Caribbean,” the U.S. State Department noted.
The U.S. State Department said that Rubio will reaffirm the United States’ commitment to working with CARICOM member states to enhance stability and prosperity in our hemisphere.
