By Zoila Palma: Today, Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement saying that the country is closely monitoring rising tensions in the Middle East.
“In the wake of rising tensions in the Middle East, we will continue to closely monitor relevant developments and maintain communication and coordination with like-minded countries and global partners to safeguard our national security and stability,” Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated.
The U.S. and Israel today launched a “major military operation” against Iran and U.S. President Donald Trump said that the U.S. will destroy Iranian missiles as they threaten the U.S., troops and bases.
