According to Fox, as of today, over 15 million voters had already participated in the upcoming Nov. 5 election through early in-person and mail-in ballots, indicating strong voter enthusiasm nationwide.
Recent polls show a tight race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, with key battleground states—Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Nevada, and North Carolina—set to play a crucial role.
Early voting has surged in recent years, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic prompted many states to expand access.
While the last presidential election saw a significant Democratic advantage in mail-in voting, this cycle is expected to have less partisan division as Trump and the GOP no longer discourage early voting.
In 2020, 71% of voters cast ballots before Election Day, but current polls suggest that about 40% may do so this year.
Data on early ballots released by some states may indicate party affiliation but does not reflect actual voting intentions.
Full vote counts will be available on election night.
