International News: Diddy’s Miami and Los Angeles homes raided by federal agents

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The Miami and Los Angeles homes of American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs were raided by federal agents on Monday, ABC reports.

A representative from the U.S. Homeland Security Investigations said in a statement that the raid was executed as part of an “ongoing investigation.”

According to the report, while the search warrant was being executed in Los Angeles, Combs’ sons were detained outside the home, as is customary in such circumstances, and then released without charges.

“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners,” the spokesperson said.

 “We will provide further information as it becomes available.”

Sources also said that the searches are in connection with a federal investigation led by the Southern District of New York into alleged human trafficking.

No criminal charges have been filed in the investigation.
