By Zoila Palma: On Monday, 6 July 2026, the Government of Saint Lucia, in collaboration with the CARICOM Secretariat, hosted the CARICOM Youth Forum on the margins of the Fifty-First Regular Meeting of the Conference of CARICOM Heads of Government.
The forum was held under the theme “Youth Solutions for the Future.”
Young people from across the Caribbean Community came together—both in person and online—to share bold ideas and practical solutions for the Region.
Discussions included topics on youth voice, identity, safety, participation, economic opportunity and skills.
The recommendations developed during the Forum will be compiled into a Youth Dialogue Outcome Statement for presentation to CARICOM Heads of Government, ensuring that the voices of Caribbean youth help shape the future of regional integration.
