International News: Armed bandits kidnap Taxi operator in Chetumal

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Local reports in Chetumal indicate that just after 11 this morning, a taxi operator in Chetumal as kidnapped.

According to reports, the Taxi operator was driving his taxi when armed bandits blocked his passage.

There, a group of armed men descended and threatened the taxi driver and kidnapped him.

Shortly after, the Mexican National Guard arrived at the scene and found the car abandoned with the driver side door open.

Mexican authorities have been deployed.

Mexican law enforcement officials are investigating.
