By Zoila Palma:  As part of the IICA-APHIS/USDA Work Plan, a training of trainers session was recently held for officers from OIRSA and the Belize Livestock Producers Association (BLPA).

The initiative aims to strengthen a national network of trainers capable of replicating knowledge, promoting good agricultural practices, and supporting prevention and control processes within their communities and institutions.

The session was facilitated by technical officers from IICA, BAHA, and BLPA, emphasizing collaboration and capacity building in Belize’s agricultural sector.
