Inflation slowing, but not fast enough

By Aaron Humes: Belizeans continue paying higher prices for goods, though not as high as in previous years. To date, the inflation rate for 2025 stands at 1.2 percent.

Higher costs continue for food and non-alcoholic beverages, home rental, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and food and beverage service.

October’s inflation rate is 0.9 percent and prices rose only slightly between September and October, by 0.2 percent.
