By Aaron Humes: Police are looking for two persons including a female housekeeper following a reported theft.
Businessman and tour operator Stefan Musa told police that he had gone to the United States from mid-November to December 17, leaving his residence at Mile 4 1/2 Philip Goldson Highway in the care of his housekeeper. On his return, he made checks inside the bathroom located on the upper flat of his cream two-story concrete residence, and noticed that various jewelry valued at $26,000 was missing from inside a white wooden jewelry box stored inside the bathroom for safekeeping.
According to Musa, he observed no forced entry and the only person who had access inside his house is his housekeeper, originally from Orange Walk Town, who was employed as the house keeper for the past nine months until she refused to showed up to work sometime in the month of September of 2024. She has refused to answer his queries concerning the jewelry.
Police are investigating.
