Hot and sunny weather continues across Belize this Sunday

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can look forward to another warm and mostly sunny day as relatively dry weather conditions continue to dominate the country.

According to the National Meteorological Service, sunny skies mixed with a few cloudy spells are expected throughout today, while tonight will remain partly cloudy across most areas.

Forecasters say showers and thunderstorms will remain isolated nationwide, although residents in the extreme south could experience a few additional showers during the night.

Temperatures are expected to remain high, particularly in inland communities where daytime highs could reach 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Coastal areas are forecast to reach 89 degrees, while temperatures in the hills will peak near 82 degrees.

Marine conditions will be choppy to moderate with easterly winds blowing between 10 and 20 knots and waves ranging from 3 to 6 feet.

The good news for Belizeans is that tropical cyclone formation is not expected anywhere in the region during the next 48 hours, keeping the start of the hurricane season relatively quiet.

With favorable weather expected throughout much of the country, many Belizeans are likely to take advantage of the sunshine for outdoor activities, family gatherings and weekend travel.
