By Breaking Belize News Staff: A warm and dry air mass continues to dominate Belize’s weather, bringing sunny skies and minimal rainfall as the dry season stretches on. The latest forecast from the National Meteorological Service indicates that today will be sunny with occasional cloudy spells, but rain is not expected to develop. Conditions will remain much the same through tonight, with partly cloudy skies and fair weather prevailing.
Moderate winds from the east to southeast are blowing at 10 to 20 knots, leading to sea conditions classified as moderate with waves ranging from 4 to 6 feet. Temperatures are climbing today, with inland areas expected to reach a sweltering 96°F. Coastal regions will experience slightly milder temperatures of 89°F, cooling to 76°F at night, while higher elevations will remain relatively cool, peaking at 80°F during the day and dropping to 66°F overnight.
Looking ahead to Friday and Friday night, the forecast calls for continued warm and mostly dry weather. Today’s tides include a high at 10:52 AM and a low at 6:34 PM. Early Friday brings a high tide at 12:51 AM and a low at 5:22 AM. The sun rose at 5:20 AM and will set at 6:17 PM. The moon set this morning at 7:23 AM and will rise again at 9:13 PM.
