By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The much anticipated Belize Beef Fest & Rodeo is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the National Agriculture Show Grounds in Belmopan. The annual event, organized by the Belize Livestock Producers Association (BLPA), will kick off at 8:00 am and promises a day filled with exciting activities and delicious food.
You can look forward to a variety of attractions, including the display and sale of dairy products such as milk and cheese, as well as Belizean cuisine featuring beef, pork, and sheep products. The Belize Beef Fest & Rodeo will also showcase meat products like ham and sausages, and booths related to livestock businesses.
“Here’s your chance to showcase your goods and services to a crowd of enthusiastic rodeo fans and beef lovers,” the BLPA said in a social media post.
“Whether you’ve got the perfect cowboy hat, the tastiest steaks, or delicious dairy products, we want YOU to join us at the Beef Fest and Rodeo!”
Vendors interested in participating can choose from booth sizes of 10×10 for $50 or 10×20 for $100. Note that vendors are only allowed to sell beef, pork, or sheep products. Secure your spot by messaging the BLPA at 672-5275.
Don’t miss out on the Grilling Competition featuring pork, beef, and sheep. Cash prizes of $1,000, $300, and $200 will be awarded to the top three teams. Competing teams can consist of up to four persons.
