By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: On May 9, 2024, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs team at the Directorate General for Foreign Trade hosted students from Itz’at STEAM Academy, Wesley College, and E.P. Yorke High School for an educational session on the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).

The students gained valuable insights into the history and significance of this regional integration organization.

Additionally, they engaged in an enjoyable painting activity with the team, which allowed them to learn about the individual member states of the Community.

This year marks Belize’s 50th anniversary as a member of the Caribbean Community.
