Residents in New Area, Georgeville were reaching out on social media requesting assistance.
The forecast from the National Meteorological Service of Belize indicates that excessive rainfall of up to 2-4 inches is possible over the country.
The National Met Service urged residents to monitor the weather situation carefully.
