By Zoila Palma: The Cayo Community is mourning the loss of two Sarita employees Raynard Garbutt Jr. and Robert Crawford who were senselessly murdered.
Ray’s mom, Michelle Coleman has issued a statement saying that she is “broken” by the loss of her son.
“As I sit here all I can say is why Lord why my baby son…I am numb, I am broken my hard working, loving, humble baby boy you took away from me.. Lord anybody that knows me knows my children are my life,” Coleman said.
Ray is known in his home town as a positive, hard working and dedicated young man.
Condolences have poured in from all his families, friends and colleagues.
Coleman says that she appreciates all those reaching out.
Ray leaves behind a 1 month old baby.
Coleman says that as a mother, she always watches news and prays that she is never in this situation and today she mourns her son.
“Ray J my son my baby boy I am soooo sorry you went like this, from the day you were born, I had always been your protector and now I had all the signs but never know those were signs at the time and I could not protect you.
My family chain is broken and it cannot be fixed…. I love you forever my son,” Coleman expressed.
