By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Undefeated Gwen Lizarraga High School will take on Wesley College in the Central Secondary Schools Sports Association (CSSSA) Girls Basketball Championship final on Saturday, December 7 at Swift Hall in Belize City.
Cedella Lanza led Wesley with 13 points in the 19-12 win over Edward P. Yorke High School in the semifinals on Tuesday. Jeniyah Welch scored seven for EP Yorke.
Gwen Liz had triumphed over fourth seeded Pallotti High School on Monday in the other semifinal.
Gwen Liz beat Wesley 11-9 in their regular season encounter.
EP Yorke will face Pallotti for third place.
