By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Guinea Grass’ Mi Gente lead the Orange Walk Football Association’s Kevin Bernard 1st Division Championship. Despite a 2-2 draw with the San Jose Pumas last Sunday, undefeated Mi Gente remain atop the standings with 17 points from five wins and two draws.
San Jose Pumas follow with 14. Palmar are third with 13 points and Yo Creek United are fourth with 12 points. Progresso and Galacticos have 10 each, but a better goal difference places Progresso in the fifth spot. Galacticos are sixth.
San Estevan Soccer Team have two points while Louisiana only have one.
In the other Week 7, Progresso FC demolished Louisiana FC with a 7-0 victory, while Yo Creek FC defeated Galacticos FC 3-1. Palmar FC also won 3-1 against Estevan Soccer Club.
