This grassroots initiative is helping to cultivate not only crops, but also stronger, more resilient communities.
Through hands-on gardening activities, students are gaining valuable agricultural skills, while families enjoy the benefits of fresh, homegrown produce. The program also fosters a sense of community, as neighbors come together to share knowledge and support one another.
More than just a gardening project, the initiative promotes sustainable food practices, healthier lifestyles, and increased self-reliance among youth and families. It reflects a growing movement toward environmental awareness and food security at the local level.
The Department of Youth Services extends heartfelt thanks to the schools, youth groups, and community stakeholders who continue to drive this effort forward.
