By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Griga Conquerors FC beat RC Strikers FC 4-3 on Saturday and clinched a fifth consecutive Stann Creek Football Association (SCFA) Championship at the Carl Ramos Stadium in Dangriga.
The Final of the SCFA 2023-24 Opening Season was first set to play on Friday, December 22, but had to be postponed to Saturday due to constant rain.

Conquerors won five of eight individual awards: Curtis ‘TyTy’ Valerio – Playoffs MVP, Leonard ‘Macho’ Valdez – Best Striker, Aaron ‘Buck’ Estero – Regular Season MVP, Eddy Perez – Best Goalkeeper, and Clay Flores – Best Midfielder.
The RC Stiker won two awards: Kevin Herrera – Best Defender and Rigo Castro – Best Coach.
The Pomona Warriors won the Fair Play Award.
Hopkins Ibayani FC won third place with a 4-2 win over New Site HD.
