By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: The budget debate commences March 20,2024 and this year, the Government of Belize has included a BZ $6 million for low-income homes and housing repairs.
Hundreds of families across the country have benefitted from the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH)s modular housing pilot program.
The modular housing pilot program is expected to continue through the MIDH as well as providing assistance in the form of Home improvement grants.
Residents across Belize have been able to receive assistance after applying for home improvement grants.
