By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are investigating a traffic accident on Saturday night that claimed the life of Georgeville resident, Thomas Lester Martinez,27.
According to reports, Martinez was driving an ATV around 9:24pm from Esperanza Village toward Georgeville when he was reportedly struck from behind by a vehicle.
Police who responded at the scene reportedly found him in a drain with severe injuries.
He was taken to the San Ignacio Community Hospital, and was pronounced dead at 11:55 p.m.
Police have since served the driver of the 2007 dodge charger with a Notice of Intended Prosecution
