By Rubén Morales Iglesias: G-Flow’s Derrick Chavarria won the Cycling Federation of Belize’s (CFB) DigiWallet Valentine’s Cycling Tour 2024 held from Friday to Sunday, February 16-18.

Arielle Gordon won the Women’s Category.

Chavarria won all the three stages in the Men’s tour which climaxed in San Ignacio and Santa Elena on Sunday.

Ahead of the final stage, Chavarria won the Prologue on Princess Margaret Drive in Belize City in three minutes, 57.55 seconds (0:03:57.550) four seconds ahead of Carlton Robinson who clocked 0:04:01.953.

Chavarria then won 73-mile Stage 2 from Belize City to Dangriga on Saturday in two hours, 59 minutes and 51 seconds in a field sprint that included 38 cyclists.
