By Zoila Palma: The Friends Supporting the Anglican Diocese of Belize (FSADB) celebrated a major milestone over the weekend with their 35th Annual Scholarship Gala, an event dedicated to supporting the educational aspirations of Belizean youth.
Held in partnership with the Belize City Council, the gala highlighted the long-standing commitment of FSADB to funding scholarships for students in Belize City, making a lasting impact on education and equity.
Belize City Mayor Bernard Wagner, a proud graduate of Anglican Cathedral College (ACC), delivered the keynote address.
He was joined by Councillors Allan Pollard and Kaya Cattouse, emphasizing the Council’s support for youth empowerment through education.
The gala honored decades of dedication by FSADB and its partners, including Bishop Wright, FSADB President Dr. Claude Stuart, and ACC Board Chairman Jeffrey Locke, whose leadership continues to shape a legacy of educational advancement.
Congratulations poured in for FSADB, whose scholarship efforts have helped change lives and pave the way for future generations of Belizean students.
