Friends for Conservation and Development battle fires in and around Vaca Forest Reserve

By Zoila Palma Gonzalez: Friends for Conservation and Development (FCD) continue to battle wildfires for more than a week.

The blazes continue to ravage the Vaca Forest Reserve.

These fires sparked both within and outside its boundaries; primarily by a few neglecting to follow proper regulations.

“Amidst the chaos, we extend heartfelt gratitude to farmers who diligently abide by the rules and those who volunteered their time and efforts to join us in controlling the fires, showcasing their commitment to safeguarding property and our precious forests,” FCD says.
