By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): The Jaguars had the home crowd. French Guiana had the goals.
Belize went down 2 to 0 to French Guiana on Saturday night at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan in Concacaf Nations League B action.
The Jaguars could not find the back of the net, while French Guiana struck twice to walk away with all three points.
“Not the result we wanted,” the Football Federation of Belize admitted after the final whistle.
It is a tough setback for a Belize side that opened its campaign with a 1 to 0 away win over Sint Maarten.
But there is no time to dwell. The two teams meet again on Tuesday.
