By Aaron Humes: Police have several youths of Belize City detained pending investigation for firearm and ammunition-related offences.
The ongoing investigation commenced on Tuesday, April 28, when police conducted a house search at a Kings Park address in Belize City. Four people aged between 19 and 29 were present.
As a result of the search, officers discovered a 9-millimeter pistol along with fifteen live rounds of ammunition in the house. No one was able to produce a firearm or ammunition license when requested.
