By Breaking Belize News Staff: Former UDP Chairman Alberto August has offered his knowledge as a former law enforcement officer to the Government of Belize particularly with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Today, August wrote a public letter to Minister of Home Affairs Oscar Mira.
“Crime and violence, especially murders, continue to plague the nation.
Today’s double murder in San Ignacio rightfully concerns all of us living in this community.
Please be informed Sir that I stand ready to utilize the law enforcement knowledge I have to assist in the effort geared towards addressing this grave concern first within the community where I live and, if effective, for implementation nationally.
