Foreign Affairs CEO opens Regional Workshop on Strengthening Digital Resilience

By Zoila Palma:  This week, Oscar Arnold, Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade delivered the opening remarks at the Regional Workshop on Strengthening Digital Resilience.

The workshop brings together regional stakeholders to advance discussions on safeguarding critical government services and protecting sovereign data during times of disruption, particularly in the face of natural disasters.

Participants explored the data embassy model as an innovative approach to ensuring government continuity, strengthening digital resilience, and preserving data sovereignty across the Caribbean.

Among those in attendance were Ron Redhead, Minister of Information and Communication Technology of Grenada, Erwin Jay Saunders, Minister of Innovation, Technology and Energy of the Turks and Caicos Islands, as well as other high-level officials and technical representatives from sister Caribbean countries.
