By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A traffic accident along San Estevan Road in Orange Walk on Wednesday resulted in damage to two pickup trucks but no reported serious injuries.
Police say a red Toyota pickup was making a left turn into a dirt road when a white Ford F-150 traveling behind attempted to overtake and collided into the rear of the Toyota.
The impact left the Toyota with damage to its rear bumper and light, while the Ford sustained front-end damage and was seen off the roadway.
The Toyota was driven by 29-year-old Amid Vega, while the Ford was driven by 43-year-old Jacob Friesen.
Vega later complained of pain to his shoulder and head and was issued a medical form.
Both drivers reportedly agreed to settle the matter through insurance, and police confirmed that vehicle documents were up to date.
