By Zoila Palma: Today, the Football Federation of Belize (FFB) highlighted the participation of Sandra Aleman, Club Licensing Manager, in the UEFA–Concacaf Club Licensing Exchange Programme Workshop, held in Madrid, Spain from April 9–10, 2026.
Hosted under the UEFA Together 2025–2027 initiative, the workshop brought together representatives from UEFA, Concacaf, and Member Associations to strengthen collaboration and advance club licensing and monitoring systems worldwide.
During the two-day programme, Aleman engaged in high-level discussions and presentations covering:
UEFA’s club licensing framework and compliance systems
Financial sustainability and economic control in football
Governance structures within the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF)
The Concacaf Club Licensing System and regional practices
Women’s football development within licensing structures
Global perspectives through exchanges with associations including Croatia, San Marino, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic
FFB noted that the workshop also created meaningful opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange, reinforcing FFB’s commitment to aligning with global standards and advancing football development in Belize.
