By Aaron Humes: A food vendor from Douglas Jones Street, Belize City reported that burglars stole cash and a small gas tank, among other things, from her residence over the Easter weekend.
The complainant reported she had locked up her green concrete bungalow home on Holy Saturday around 3:30 and left. She returned around 5:20 a.m. Easter Sunday to find the house ransacked and her padlock missing. Also missing was a small green gas tank valued at 85 dollars, $1,500 in cash and other items.
Police are investigating.
