Flags to be flown at half-mast in mourning of Pope Francis

By Zoila Palma:  In observance of the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis, Prime Minister John Briceño has advised Cabinet Secretary Stuart Leslie, acting as Governor-General in the absence of Dame Froyla Tzalam, that all Belizean national flags be flown at half-mast from midday Thursday until his Committal Service on April 26, 2025.

The nation will also observe an official mourning period during this time.
