By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Belize Development Boxing Council, led by Commissioner Javier Romero, is preparing for an upcoming boxing event featuring talent from Mexico and various parts of Belize. The Fight Night: Rising Warriors boxing card, organized by Tres Reyes Promotions, will take place at Cayo CET Campus in San Ignacio on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 7:00 pm.

The event will feature ten amateur bouts, including a main event between Julian Pacheco from Caye Caulker and Ruben Turriza from Chetumal, Mexico. Additionally, a match featuring Belizean women boxers Erin Sosa and Julianny Garcia will highlight the growing presence of women in the sport.

Tickets are available at Cayo CET, with prices set at $10 for children, $20 for general admission, and $30 for ringside seats.

The event aims to provide athletes with a competitive platform while contributing to the development of Belize’s boxing scene.
