By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) is launching a two-week recruitment drive this weekend to select Under-15 players for the National Team, which will represent Belize in the 2025 Concacaf Championship.
FFB Technical Officer Philip Marin announced that four coaches will be traveling across the country to scout boys born in 2010 and 2011. Recruitment sessions will be held in major population centers.
National coaches Dale Palayo and Norman Koko, along with fitness coach Dennis Serano and goalkeeper coach Stanley Reneau, will conduct tryout sessions in Orange Walk, Corozal, Belize City, and Caye Caulker this long weekend.
Next weekend, on October 19 and 20, they will travel to Independence and Dangriga. On Saturday, October 26, they will be in San Ignacio and Belmopan.
All interested boys from the mentioned towns and cities, and surrounding areas are invited to attend. They should arrive early and be dressed in their football gear.

Saturday, 12 October 2024
7am to 9am – Orange Walk – People’s Stadium, Orange Walk Town
10am to 12pm – Corozal – Santiago Ricalde Stadium, Corozal Town
Sunday, 13 October 2024
9am to 11am – Belize City – MCC Grounds
3pm to 5pm – Caye Caulker – Caye Caulker Football Field
Monday, 14 October 2024
9am to 11am – San Pedro – Ambergris Stadium, San Pedro
Saturday, 19 October 2024
9am to 11am – Toledo – Victor Sanchez Union Field, Punta Gorda
3pm to 5pm – Midsouth – Michael Ashcroft Stadium, Independence
Sunday, 20 October 2024
9am to 11am – Stann Creek – Carl Ramos Stadium, Dangriga
Saturday, 26 October 2024
9am to 11am – Cayo & Benque Viejo del Carmen – Norman Broaster Stadium, San Ignacio
3pm to 5pm – Belmopan – FFB Stadium, Belmopan
