Haiti have arrived with Caribbean pedigree and international experience, making them a formidable opening opponent. Belize will rely on passionate home support at the FFB Stadium, where fans are expected to turn out in full voice.
Belize are grouped with Haiti, Suriname, Anguilla, and the Dominican Republic in Group D. The top team from each group will advance to the final round of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Notable Absences and Selection Notes
Among the notable absentees is Ashley Rodriguez, a regular in recent national team call-ups who travelled to Honduras earlier this month but is currently recovering from surgery. Kaite Jones, active with Corozal Elite FC in the Premier Women’s League of Belize, was not selected after missing national team training. Elva Nunes, meanwhile, was not released by her school and could not attend the sessions.
Also absent are Kenya Pérez and Jolene Aranda, both of whom were unable to participate due to high school commitments, as training was held from Monday to Wednesday.
