By Breaking Belize News Staff: A fatal chopping incident has left one man dead in Santa Martha Village, Orange Walk with police identifying the victim as Francisco Garcia.
According to initial reports, the attack occurred early Tuesday morning under circumstances that remain unclear. Emergency responders were called to the scene but Garcia was pronounced dead shortly after.
Police have launched an investigation and are currently gathering evidence and witness statements. No arrests have been confirmed at this time.
Officials say more information will be released as the investigation develops.
