By Zoila Palma:  The Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise (MAFSE) is extending an open invitation to farmers and agricultural stakeholders in the Toledo District to attend a two-day training session focused on the cultivation and management of Pitahaya (dragon fruit) and Soursop.

The training will take place on July 23rd and 24th, 2025, beginning at 8:30 a.m. each day, at the Agriculture Department Conference Room in Toledo.

Designed to be both informative and hands-on, the program will feature theoretical presentations as well as practical field visits to selected farms.

Participants will gain valuable insights into best practices, crop management techniques, and the market potential of these two high-value fruits.

This initiative aims to support farmers in improving production efficiency, expanding crop diversity, and tapping into growing markets for tropical fruits.

For further details, interested individuals are encouraged to contact the Toledo Agriculture Department Office at 702-2689.
