By Aaron Humes: Two men posing as police officers were arrested earlier this evening following an armed robbery at a vape store in Belize City.
Initial reports indicate the robbery occurred on Daly Street, where two suspects wearing black uniforms marked “police” held up a vape store at gunpoint. The pair fled the scene on a motorcycle and were pursued by officers. They were later captured on Heusner Crescent near the Freetown gas station.
Police sources confirmed both suspects were apprehended and a weapon was seized as evidence.
Their identities have not yet been disclosed as investigations continue.
