Fair weather prevails across Belize

By Horace Palacio: The National Meteorological Service of Belize predicts generally fair weather conditions to continue throughout the day. Expect sunny skies with occasional cloud cover and a low chance of isolated showers. Nighttime skies are forecasted to be clear to partly cloudy.

Mariners can anticipate light winds from the east at 5-15 knots and light chop on the sea. Waves will range from 2-4 feet.

Temperatures across the country are expected to be:

• Coastal Areas: High of 88°F (31°C), low of 81°F (27°C)
• Inland Areas: High of 95°F (35°C), low of 72°F (22°C)
• Hilltop Areas: High of 82°F (28°C), low of 66°F (19°C)

The outlook for Monday through Monday night is for continued fair weather with only isolated showers, with potentially a slightly higher chance of showers along southern coastal areas during the morning.
