By Horace Palacio: Belize continues to enjoy a stretch of calm and comfortable weather, with forecasters predicting a mostly sunny Saturday and only a slight chance of isolated showers tonight.
The north-northeasterly airflow has moderated the region’s temperatures, bringing pleasant highs of 89°F (32°C) inland and 85°F (29°C) along the coast. Overnight lows will dip to 66°F (19°C) in the interior and 73°F (23°C) near the sea.
Mariners can expect a light chop on coastal waters, with winds ranging from 5 to 15 knots and waves between 2 to 4 feet. No advisories are currently in place, making it a favorable day for recreational sea activity.
Looking ahead, Sunday is expected to bring more of the same—fair skies, light breezes, and just a minimal chance of evening rainfall.
