By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belizeans can expect another day of calm and mostly sunny skies as fair weather conditions continue to prevail across the country, according to the National Meteorological Service.
The general forecast for the next 24 hours calls for sunny skies with occasional cloudy spells and partly cloudy conditions tonight. Showers or thunderstorms will be isolated, though a few more may develop this afternoon, particularly over inland areas and the Maya Mountains.
Marine conditions remain favorable, with light west to northwest winds at 0–10 knots, and slight seas with wave heights between 1 to 3 feet — ideal for small craft operators and recreational boaters.
Temperature highs are expected to reach 92°F (33°C) inland, 88°F (31°C) along the coast, and 80°F (27°C) in the hills. Overnight lows will dip to 72°F (22°C) inland, 76°F (24°C) on the coast, and 68°F (20°C) in the higher elevations.
The tropical weather outlook remains clear, with no tropical cyclone formation expected over the North Atlantic Basin in the next 48 hours, offering relief as the hurricane season nears its end.
Looking ahead, Friday and Friday night are forecasted to maintain similar fair weather, with only isolated showers or thunderstorms anticipated.
