Ingeniera Flavia Felix, expert with the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation of Peru is sharing about potato cultivation in Peru, while also looking into our planting systems and offering advice on potato cultivation in Belize.
The session started with a brief ceremony during which Minister Jose Abelardo Mai gave a welcome to Ing Felix.
“We consume about 7.5 million pounds of potato per year in Belize, while producing about 4 million pounds during the months of November- February,” the Ministry shared.
