
Organized by ARVPAM [Association de Recherches et de Valorisation du Patrimoine Archéologique sous-marin de la Martinique] and DRASSM [Département des Recherches Archéologiques Subaquatiques et Sous-Marines] on its 60th anniversary, « Plongée dans le bleu, là où dorment les épaves… » [Diving into the blue, where the shipwrecks slumber…] offers a collection of breathtaking photos of shipwrecks of the Caribbean and the Atlantic as well as archaeological objects gathered through the decades on the premises of the DAC [Direction des Affaires Culturelles]. The DAC is located at Villa les Pergolas, 54 Professeur Raymond Garcin Street, Fort de France, Martinique.
Description: In the gardens of the Direction des Affaires Culturelles (DAC), discover photos of emblematic shipwrecks lying beneath the waves of the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic. Archaeological objects excavated from these wrecks are on display in the reception hall of the main building.
