Description (translated from a text by El Depósito): El Depósito presents Asterisco, a collective exhibition by artists Ana Rosa Rivera and Charles Juhasz Alvarado as part of the third presentation of 2024. Ana and Charles render, in the form of an installation, the design or configuration of their workshop, a space that they have shared, and is part of their daily life, for the last 32 years. In the words of both artists, this exhibition represents the convergence of their creative concepts over the years. Charles, a native of Caguas, and Ana, from Morovis, share in a certain way, in their respective projects modes of configuring a place by combining different sculptural media such as wood, metal, fabric, painting, photography, sound, light, performance, as well as “readymade” and artisanal techniques.
