In collaboration with Galería Casado Santapau, MINIM Madrid presents Alexandre Arrechea’s “Esquinas” [Corners]. This solo exhibition opens on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 7:30pm, at the MINIM Madrid showroom (located at Paseo de la Castellana 92, 28046, Madrid, Spain), where it will remain on view until April 6, 2026. The artist will be present at the opening.
Description: As part of ARCO 2026 and coinciding with the week in which Madrid consolidates its position as one of the leading international centers for contemporary art, MINIM Madrid presents ESQUINAS (Corners), a solo exhibition by Alexandre Arrechea (Trinidad, Cuba, 1970).
Organized in collaboration with Galería Casado Santapau, the exhibition brings together eleven works created specifically for this occasion, and a tapestry. In these pieces, urban architecture — particularly the corner — is transformed into a mask: a symbolic device that condenses memory, friction, and possibility.
