By Breaking Belize News Staff: A man is dead and a youth severely injured after they were knocked off a motorcycle in Santa Cruz Village in the Stann Creek District.
On Tuesday, 50-year-old Everisto Tush and 18-year-old Galino Ical were on the Thomas Vincent Ramos Highway between miles 22 and 23 when they were rearended by a car. Tush received severe head injuries and died on the spot. Meanwhile Ical was rushed to Belmopan for medical treatment and is currently still recovering.
The driver of the car, a resident of Independence Village, has since been served with a notice of intended prosecution by police.
