By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Ethan Vargas, a standout talent from St Jude Roman Catholic Primary School in Camalote, Cayo, has once again led his team to glory, repeating as Most Valuable Player (MVP) and securing the national championship title in the National Football Tournament organized by the National Sports Council of Belize.
The tournament took place on Friday, December 6, at the Football Federation of Belize Football Stadium in Belmopan.
St Jude RC emerged as the 2x champions, demonstrating outstanding skill and teamwork throughout the competition.
Wesley Upper from Belize City clinched the second place, followed by Santa Cruz from Stann Creek securing the third spot.
Ethan Vargas’s exceptional performance throughout the tournament solidified his reputation as one of Belize’s top young football talents.
