Manchester United have decided to continue with Erik ten Hag as their manager after a review of the season. The club finished in their lowest Premier League position, eighth, but won the FA Cup and it has been confirmed after weeks of deliberation that the Dutchman will carry on.
Ten Hag has been in charge for two seasons and won the Carabao Cup in his first campaign, when the team also qualified for the Champions League. United then finished bottom of their Champions League group and experienced a series of poor Premier League results, including home defeats by Bournemouth, Fulham and Crystal Palace, not helped by injury problems.
