By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A Belize City man, identified as Eric Reyes, was fatally shot late last night on Park Street during what police believe was a targeted attack. Residents reported hearing a burst of gunfire before finding Reyes unresponsive on the roadside.
Emergency personnel arrived quickly, but he was declared dead at the scene.
The area was cordoned off as police launched a full investigation, and the body was taken to the morgue pending a post-mortem examination.
Police have not yet established a motive, and no suspects have been detained. Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward.
