England’s Foden and Greenwood accused of breaking Covid-19 rules by inviting girls to hotel room

Phil Foden and Mason Greenwood allegedly invited two girls to the England hotel in Reykjavik on Saturday night after the team’s 1-0 win over Iceland and broke coronavirus isolation rules, according to reports.

The players had made their senior international debuts in the game – Foden as a starter, Greenwood as a substitute – but they did not train on Monday morning and they are now expected to be expelled from the squad.
